Into the New Year!

Posted on August 4, 2017 at 8:00 PM

Happy 2017 everyone!

After the unfortunate collapse of a show I was to be a part of Off-Broadway at the end of the year, I'm looking forward to announcing soon some exciting things that are coming up!!

In the meantime, I've been able to jump into scene study classes at the Freeman Studio, and have been having an amazing time under the tutelage of Alexandra Neil. It's such a nice feeling to be able to get down and dirty with the work every week.

I've also signed on as a trainer at the new gym SWITCH down in Union Sq, so come visit and get your fit on while I'm in town.

And of course there's the big bad audition season. She is NUTS! But I'm enjoying the ride.

Summer's End 2016

What an incredible year 2016 has shaped up to be thus far! After spending the first of the year back at home, auditioning and sprucing up my new apartment with all the DIY projects I could muster, I headed to China to begin pre-production and rehearsals on the film "Asura", a big-budget Chinese blockbuster due out late next year.

Shortly after that I headed to Rhode Island to take on "Action" in Theatre By the Sea's "West Side Story". I wish I had the words to describe what a special experience it was for me, but I'll suffice to say it was a one of the most artistically fulfilling adventures of my career.

Then after a quick vacation to clear my head and breathe in some fresh Colorado air with friends and family, I'm now happily back in the city plotting my next project and soaking up the last rays of summer in the meantime!

Hope everyone's having a killer summer!!

2016: Endings & Beginnings

Back in the US-S-A(eh)! And just like that my international travels have come to an least the work related ones for now. Getting to bring such a beloved tale as "Beauty and the Beast" to so many INCREDIBLE places was really the opportunity of a lifetime, and to personally get to swing 9 tracks was both one of the most challenging and simultaneously coolest things I've ever done.

Now, though, I'm SUPER stoked to be back in the city and taking on auditions and class with a renewed sense of joy and hunger! I can't wait to share my next adventure with you guys! Until then...

Happy 2016 everyone!!

The School of Greatness

You guys...every so often I'm lucky enough to stumble upon or be gifted a gem, and this is absolutely one of them. This is a podcast by a guy named Lewis Howes who is a former pro athlete turned entrepeneur and life coach (I actually think that's his literal tagline in the intro). Anyway the format is that he interviews people who are at the top of their field, from athletes, to doctors, to writers, to spiritual leaders, basically anyone and everyone who knows a lot about some subject we might be better by knowing at least a little bit about. The episodes are usually an hour-ish give or take 20 minutes, and the subjects and their answers truly insightful. I've taken to listening to it while I make breakfast every morning and while I ride the train, and it starts my day of in such a rich and provoking way. If you have a chance take a gander, I promise you won't regret it, and I hope you enjoy!

Spring into early summer has been such a whirlwind personally and professionally, and I never dreamt I'd be hitting the road again so soon, but I am so, SO excited to be heading around the WORLD with the
